The Watkins part number is WAT73790. Used on all 1995 to current, 110 volt and 220 volt models. This heater will look completely different from the one that you are replacing, because the heater that resembles a black box is no longer in production. Watkins manufacturing has replaced that unit with this universal heater. Plumbing of those spas manufactured between 1997 and 2002 will have no issues realigning the plumbing of the old unit with the new one. Spas dated 1995 & 1996, will require a plumbing retro-fit Plumbing Kit (WAT71557) and Cord Adaptor (WAT71537) to hook up the new heater. We also recommend that when you are switching out this unit, regardless of year, to replace the Thermostat (WAT38415) and Hi-Limit (WAT38416).
