Watkins manufacturing has replaced old units with this Universal 6kw Titanium Heater Element. This heater is INDEED the Watkins Titanium heating element. Plumbing of spas manufactured between 1997 and current will have NO issues realigning the plumbing of the old unit with this new one. We also recommend that when you are switching out this unit, regardless of year, to replace the Control Stat Thermistor (PN 38415 or 39530) and the Hi-Limit Thermistor (PN 38416 or 39525).
