We put 1 inch Styrofoam under ours as it is setting on cement(use the bubble mat for the pattern). That also made the bottom softer and hopefully insulate so the heater does not have to work so much. Getting in the spa at the end of the day is absolutely the best, have some personal time and to wind down. If you have 4 people in it make sure they are good friends as it gets a little tight for room. We absolutely love this Spa and are planning on using it year round here in northeastern Ohio. For the price its the best. MY husband over 200 pounds can sit on the side no problems. We use it every night after work. The bubbles massage away all the aches of the day. Very pleased with this!
