An extra large steel heater coil with welded stainless steel fireguard – great for heating your hot tub without any need for electrical plug points, extension cables etc – made from extremely durable materials. Great for long-term outdoor use. THE TUBING IN THIS COIL HAS A 50% GREATER INTERNAL VOLUME THAN OUR STANDARD COILS. 6 metres of 1 and 1/4 inch (32mm) stainless 304 steel tube (with a 1.5mm wall). Inner diameter – 300mm. Outer diameter (including the fireguard) – approx. 270mm (6 coils) high – works well with both wood and charcoal. Comes with 300mm tails. Tail length is measured from the outermost edge of the coil to the end of the tail. Made from 0.9mm stainless steel sheet, 250mm tall. Fitted and welded around the coil. Enhances the thermo-syphon effect of the coil, containing the heat of the fire and channeling airflow more effectively. To use, first attach to your hot tub by using any suitable method. Then build a fire within the coil and allow the hot tub water to heat. Heating time will vary depending on water temperature, ambient temperature and hot tub size – be sure to have a means of checking your water temperature before use and of reducing/extinguishing your fire once that temperature is reached.
