Watkins Item # 74427 : Silent Flo 5000 E5 – NEW Circulation Pump WITH power cord. This is a brand-new E5 circulation pump (part number 74427) from Watkins Manufacturing – this is not a rebuilt part. This new model uses less electricity and moves more water per minute than the older circulation pump. This small circulation pump is used on the following models. HotSpring Spas: 1996 to current. Tiger River Spas: ALL models. Limelight Spas: 2008 to Current. Replaces part number 73588 (older version SilentFlo 5000). The new E5 circulation pump is designed to replace your SilentFlo 5000 with no retrofits to your tub. Installation instructions are included. Power Cord IS INCLUDED with new circulation pump. Tech Note: This pump should NOT be operated without water present in the spa. If a “dry run” occurs , the pump has an internal safety device that will automatically shut it down. To reset this pump simply power down the spa for 30 seconds then power it back up. Note: Some applications may require that this pump lay on its side for an easier connection to existing plumbing. It is not necessary to attach this pump to the floor of the equipment compartment. Technical Specs: 115volts/60hz/35 watts (6,000 Gallons every 24 hours). Removal of old pump. Disconnect power to the spa. Access the equipment compartment. Unplug the circulation pump from the control box. If the spa is filled with water, clamp the circulation pump inlet and outlet tubing with Hose Clamp Pliers or insert wine bottle corks into the ends of the tubing. Remove the bonding wire and base bracket screws. Use pliers to slide the spring clamps located on the inlet and outlet fittings back onto the vinyl tubing. Remove the vinyl tubing from the pump inlet and outlet fittings. Disconnect the electrical cord for the old pump. Take note of the electrical hookup. Installation of the new pump. Install the original electrical cord onto the new pump. Reverse steps 3 to 7 of the Circulation Pump Removal instructions. Check for water leaks. Reconnect power to the spa. Perform a water flow test. Check for any air in the plumbing lines. If air does not clear, bleed off the air at the closest tubing clamp. Reinstall the equipment compartment door. DONT SEE AN ITEM?
