Because of the nature of it being a plug in hot tub, it takes longer to heat up and the jets are not as powerful as a hot tub wired in. For our needs, however, it is perfect, It did not break the bank, it was/is a good stater tub, looks nice, easy to maintain. I researched awhile before purchasing a hot tub. This was the best value. I was looking for a two to four person tub. This hot tub is the best! Small yet mighty , great price and easily managed, no stairs or lift needed. Has turned my back yard into a resort. First off, let me say we have owned a previous plug and play spa and we were very happy with it for 10 years. This one arrived, and the access panel is really difficult to get to, and the plastic used is very brittle, so it broke in 3 places trying to get the access panel off and on. I can live with that, but what I can’t live with is a spa that isn’t warm unless it is CONSTANTLY running. There is only 2 settings: one is “normal” and constantly running, the other is “economy” and it doesn’t run enough to keep the water temp.
