Pump motor heats the water so it take a long time to heat up and will only stay above 100 for about 30 minutes with the bubbles going. Spa requires 8 kilowatts of electric per day to maintain 104 degrees with room temp of 62 degrees. Where I live the cost of electric is 9.5 cents per KW. Humidity in room will raise to 75% when using the jets. I have a 70 pint dehumidifier that brings the humidity down to 45% running for 2 hours after spa is covered. Covered spa does not add to humidity. I have used the spa everyday and works as advertised. So far so good, but.. So far it’s working real nice. But we had to blow it up without the air pressure gauge because it wasn’t included. It was missing from the box. Also missing was the manual. We had to pretty much go online and find a video on how to set it up. Sure would be nice to have the air pressure gauge. This is a great hot tub. Really easy to set up. It comes with a heat feature which is great! Works like a dream. The only problem with it was that the bubbles feature in the pump stopped working after about a month. The good news is that the customer service folks were pretty good and sent out a new pump. So far it’s been great, not sure how it will stand up over time, but as of now we are very happy with it. I decided to try a portable (less expensive easy option) hot tub before I went with a permanent one and this is made exceptionally well. Comes with it’s own GFCI so no need for an electrician to install anything. It is big girl friendly, the sides are so well constructed I can sit on it (250+) with no indent. The beating element does very good. Stayed around 100f with me in it and the bubbles going. I would say 2 adults max or you’re touching someone else. The bottom is cushioned, I’m 5’1 and I can float in it with legs and arms extended. The only negative is the directions are beyond terrible. This a great hot tub. The heating time is longer because of the cold weather but I supplemented the heater with a wood fire heating system. The sides are thick and sturdy. You can sit on the side without worry. The bottom is slightly padded and it sits on a pad so it’s very comfortable. If you are considering it, go for it. I’m glad I chose this one. The walls are sturdy enough to hold 225lbs of dad bod when inflated. The cover has 6 child resistant buckles. Child resistant as in it takes both hands and an occasional cuss word if you have fat fingers, but they are safe. The control panel is easy to use and understand. Wish they offered this on 220v. Thought I would give it a shot. If this one continues to work as it is doing currently, I will be completely satisfied. If not it won’t take a chainsaw and a half a days work to get rid of. I used a bathroom plug when running the heater, gif already would’pop’ if too hot or too much. The wattage is 1356 or so. If you want to avoid a charge on your electric bill you can get a small generator and heat it off that, but get an 1800 start up-1500 running so it will hold it. There are like over 80 EIGHTY jets. Even at 93 or 94 degrees it is fine for me. Jets shut off after like 20 minutes so you have to push the button again to start them. Don’t be afraid of the’buttons’. Heat waves is’heat’ C/ F centigrade/ fahrenheit. This is VERY NICE. I checked my electric usage after heating it a little and it was not bad. My bill was still clearly a summer bill without the air on. For the price this tub is great. Setup was a breeze. It takes some time to bring water temp up to 104. Easy setup, easy to use and easy to enjoy. It was very easy to set up BUT the instructions are almost impossible to read since they are in such small type! I had to have mine copied and blown up to at least 5 times the size they were printed in. Otherwise, we love it! Very easy to set up and use. I have used it in 35 degree weather and it seems fine. Very sturdy and comfortable for 2. Haven’t tried 4 in it but it could be either very croweded or very’cozy’ depending on who is in there with you!! This small hot tub spa is a brilliant piece of workmanship! I have had it for a while and it has functioned perfectly! In fact, I like it better than a hardshell or wood hot tub because you can rest your head on the pillow soft edge while you soak in the water. My water is crystal clear all the time because I clean out the filters with a spray hose every other day. It is very quiet to run and easy to drain and refill I use a garden hose attached to the drain at the bottom after opening the rubber flap on the inside bottom. I highly recommend this product! We’ve had this for about 4 months and use this almost daily. I have serious back issues and this has really helped me. The nights I don’t use it i can really tell when i lay down for bed. Our pump made a loud noise and they replaced the entire pump unit within a week. Our unit does exceed 104 when checked with another thermometer. We keep it on all the time. It cycles off automatically after i believe 72 hrs automstically for some reason but it resets with a push of a button. Takes a day to get it up to temp 120 volts ya know, otherwise it seems to need the filters cleaned every 2 weeks, excellent little party spa. The Sula is leaps and bounds beyond our expectations. Yes we have had it only four days, but, WOW! Of course it’s a Coleman so we expected it to be good. It’s incredibly easy to set up; it’s solid (I’ve never put air in it since we set it up); the filter is weatherproof and care-free, and most of all, the experience in the tub is amazing. The temperature reaches a comfortable but not hot 104 degrees, and the bubbles coming up from the bottom feel like the jets are coming from everywhere. We replaced the inexpensive filters every month or so, whenever we got an E2 message on the pump. And our electric bill only went up a few dollars a month. Just remember to give it time to heat up, a full day if it hasn’t been on for a while. We turn it on before work and it’s usually peak temperature by 7 or 8 p. The cover is tight, so no squirrels or chipmunks get in, and the inflatable insert helps retain the heat. We used one 1-inch chlorine tab a week, so it’s not expensive to keep clean. We just love it. We’re sad it’s getting cold (we live in upstate NY) and we have to take it down for the winter. Can’t wait for spring. I’m as shocked as anyone. Item was just like described except I would call it relaxing for two adults. It has gone way above our expectations for a inflatable. It is a 110 volt so it does use quite a bit of electricity as with any heating device. Extremely easy to set up and use. Sturdy and nicely built. We live in a area that has only a few short months of summer. So we have it in a 8 ft. Tall x 9 ft. Wide and 14 ft. Long 3 season tent that has a full screen ceiling so we can still see the stars without the bugs yet it has a fly in case it rains. We also put two panels of 1 inch Styrofoam under the spa so it holds the heat better. A lot of bang for your buck! Get extra filters so when you are washing out one set you can put the other set in. My husband & I bought this thinking it’s an inflatable and a little concerned with our dogs. We were so wrong, this little gem has been worth the cost. We’ve been in it almost every night accept for the days where it’s been hot & humid. It’s easy to take care of, including the chemical aspect of it. We’ve both enjoyed our little getaway from life. We live on Lake Huron in Michigan and before we had this hot tub our kids and their friends would fight to stand in the hot outdoor shower that can spray on one or maybe two kids after they swam in the lake. They would stand there for 45 minutes sometimes. This portable spa has changed all that and is very popular. We’ve had as many as eight kids in it at once. My wife was very skeptical at first but said the other day it was one of my best ideas yet. We keep it at 102 F which is a little hot for kids but it does cool off with lid off after hours of use. The kids will go from the lake to the hot tub and back all afternoon. My wife likes the idea that I can drain it and flip it on its side and use our soft car brush and dish soap and clean the thing. The only thing i can say is i found no dvd for set up so that made it somewhat hard to understand the set up as the manual has very little, and the fact that you DO NOT WANT TO FILL THIS WITH ALL COLD WATER, it had to empty half cold 2 days later and fill with hot water to get it up to be able to use it. Other then trial and error set up i love love love it and will use it alot. The sides are very sturdy even enough to where you can set on the side. This is the greatest thing. So for a total of 315 i thought it was good price. And the whirlpool air is really good for this little tub and plastic to beat. So if you always wanted one JUST DO IT you will be very happy. The Spa is excellent. We have had ours set up for about a year now and it is running great. There is a little bit of maintenance that goes along with it but not much. So I opted for a portable, inflatable one instead. I began doing this about 7 years ago and have found that these portables break down in a very short period of time. It is never the vinyl body – that is fine. It is the heater & filter. The heater often dies and sometimes the filter dies. But there are more reasons – a smaller hot tub is cheaper to heat and cheaper to chlorinate (less water). But know this – it takes almost 24 hours to heat it, so you have to decide a day ahead if you want to use it – that is annoying. Also, the disposable filters are usually very expensive – that is annoying. The filter is not very powerful too. Great for a relaxing evening. I use this product on my back patio when J need to relax, it always comes through! We use our spa every night and love it! It’s perfect to wind the day down! Water heats up great and the bubbles are amazing! Have recommended to family and friends! We give it 4 stars…. Fairly easy to set up…. We would have liked a longer power cord…. And one filter is positioned so it is a tad difficult to put back on…. Heats up and retains heat OK…. I placed the hot tub outside, under a covered patio. It is on a wooden deck, however I did place padding material on top the wood deck before setting up the hot tub. I love the hot tub. It is perfect for 1 or 2 persons. I find myself sleeping better at night when I relax in the hot tub before bed. I’ve had the spa for a week. There are 2 kinds… Bubbler spa and jet spa. The jet spa has 4 jets that are positionable. They are located about a foot off the bottom. They hit between my shoulder blades when I float and place my feet in front of the jets on the other side. They jets only run for 30 minutes at a time so you don’t get overheated or fall asleep. I have the temp at 94 degrees. It feels so good that I usually run 2 30 minute cycles. During that time the time only goes down 1 or 2 degrees. You do sit on the bottom of the spa, but there is a bubble pad that goes under the spa and I folded the box in half that the spa came in and put that under the bubble pad. The water tends to lift you slightly off the bottom so you don’t feel the hard ground/concrete under the spa. The spa is very sturdy, but keep the patches in a safe place. The cover is a little difficult for one person to put in place without dunking it in the water. Make sure to thoroughly dry out cover periodically to prevent mold. The spa was easy to set up. The most complicated part was setting up the chemicals. I went to my local pool/spa store. These chemicals will probably last a year. I also had to order filters. I was told I would probably have to change the filters weekly for the first few weeks while the water stabilizes. The water did foam… The first couple of days. I found out this is because of residue on clothes and skin; solution is rinse off before going into spa. Very easy to put up and easy to use. For the price really good value. Fast and easy setup.
