Get your Softub running today with this used circuitboard, plug it in and go…. FYI – LED top control display shows 100 degrees when starting, and will go up to 104 degree setting, real water temp is 104+ on my digital thermometer. Your maximum water temp might vary with your temperature sensors. This circuitboard will replace the newer version that shows a P when starting. Common Circuitboard failure symptoms. The pump goes on and off rapidly, every few seconds/minutes. If there is no pump action it could be the circuitboard, power supply/GFCI, failed motor, leaking pump causing GFCI fault, failed wires, or something else. For diagnosis I check voltage into the board, should be 110 volts. Then I Check for power to the relays, 110V into the first relay and out to the second relay. When there is run signal(for heat or jets) the second relay engages and sends power to the motor. You can see which relay is which, follow wires, power in and power out to the motor. Relays can be the problem, tap the side of them to see if they are stuck off or even stuck on sometimes…. Then I hotwire the motor to see if it runs, either by moving the black motor wire to another relay spade or carefully connecting 110v power wires to the back of the motor directly , you may need female connectors or clips. It can run for a few seconds without water for evaluation, no problem. Contact me with your symptoms if you are not certain which component has failed, I may be able to assist with messages/pictures. This is the older style that uses a NON digital hydromate. Liner is newer and was replaced within a few years. Tub and liner in excellent condition. Intake suction cover needs to be replaced. Cover has holes in the vinyl, which have been covered with tape. Three 2 spots on bottom edge of tub outside vinyl cracking. Otherwise no other cracks. Does NOT include a motor hydromate pack. Note: water and dirt appear on the pictures but item is not damaged or have any problems other than what is mentioned above.
