The “Hot Tub AquaFill” is designed for use with above-ground portable spas, and like fountains, they require manual filling. The greatest drawback to filling your hot tub with a garden hose is the frequency of overflows and flooding associated with getting preoccupied with other tasks and forgetting to turn off the hose faucet.
